In downtown Kherson, a Russian drone attacked a civilian vehicle

Russian troops attacked a civilian vehicle in downtown Kherson with a strike drone. A 50-year-old man was killed in the attack, and three other people were injured. The injured are receiving the necessary medical care.

 

On the evening of June 30, Russian forces once again attacked the civilian population of Kherson. This time, the strike drone targeted a civilian vehicle in the city center. Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson City Military Administration, reported the attack. “Around 7:00 p.m., Russian terrorists attacked a civilian car in downtown Kherson,” he said.

A 50-year-old man was killed when the drone struck the vehicle. He died at the scene from his injuries.

In addition to the fatality, three other people sustained injuries of varying severity. They are receiving the necessary medical care. No information about their condition has been released at this time. The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration expressed his condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. “My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. I wish the injured a speedy recovery,” said Yaroslav Shanko.

Russian troops regularly use strike drones to attack Kherson and other settlements in the region. Residential neighborhoods, civilian vehicles, and civilians are often caught in the crossfire. Law enforcement and relevant agencies are working at the site of the attack, documenting the consequences of yet another Russian war crime and establishing all the circumstances of the strike. Ukrainian drones struck eight of the ten largest Russian oil refineries by processing volume, with some facilities being hit multiple times.
