The Ukrainian Armed Forces Responded to Russia's Threat to Freeze Ukraine
The Ukrainian military responded wittily to Russia’s statements about its intention to intensify attacks on Ukraine during the winter. The Ukrainian Armed Forces hinted that they know how to “warm up” in response.
Ukrainian soldiers stated that if Russia intensifies its terror against the civilian population, Russian oil refineries may go up in flames more often and more spectacularly.
On August 14, the Russian Ministry of Defense published a photo showing Russian strike drones in the air.
The occupiers also captioned the photo, “Like snow on your head.” In this way, the enemy made it clear that in winter it would launch even more of its drones against civilians in Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Defense didn’t stop there and added another cynical threat to the photo.
“You’ll get a ‘freeze’ this winter,” the Russian ministry wrote, addressing Ukrainians directly.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Strategic Communications Directorate (StratCom) published a photo of one of Russia’s oil refineries engulfed in flames following a strike by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
“We’ll warm ourselves by the fire of Russian oil refineries,” the defenders wrote, responding to threats to “freeze” Ukraine.
This was hinted at by the Strategic Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to a post by the Armed Forces’ StratCom on Facebook.
