Ukraine is waiting for Russia to provide lists of facilities for an energy truce

Ukraine is ready to discuss a ceasefire regarding attacks on energy infrastructure, but expects Russia to provide specific proposals and a list of targets that the parties must commit to not attacking.

This was stated by Georgiy Tykhyi, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He emphasized that Kyiv advocates for a fair ceasefire that would cover all agreed-upon facilities and include a complete ban on the use of any weapons against them.

According to Tykhyi, if Moscow is truly ready for de-escalation, it must provide its lists of facilities and specify the details of the agreements. The Ukrainian side, in turn, is ready to work on coordinating the parameters of such a regime.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also noted the role of the United States in efforts to reach an energy ceasefire. According to the Ukrainian side, other international partners are also working on potential agreements in the energy sector and on grain exports.

Tykhyi emphasized that Ukraine is demonstrating its readiness for de-escalation and expects similar steps from Russia.
