Two people were killed and others were injured as a result of the strikes on Kharkiv and the surrounding region
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have launched attacks on Kharkiv and 13 other settlements in the region, killing two people and wounding 12 others, including a child. Damage to civilian infrastructure was reported in the region on May 19; the extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook.
The invaders used four guided aerial bombs and 55 drones of various types, including “Geran-2,” “Molniya,” and FPV, to carry out the strikes.
The Russians attacked the Saltiv and Novobavarsky districts of Kharkiv with drones—30 private homes, four cars, and a post office were damaged. A 47-year-old man, a 67-year-old man, a 50-year-old woman, and a 73-year-old woman were injured.
In the Kharkiv district, a car in Berezivka and a private home in Pokotylivka were damaged as a result of enemy strikes. A 67-year-old woman was killed in Pokotylivka, while another woman, aged 33, and a six-year-old girl were injured.
In Shevchenkove, Kupianskyi District, a 57-year-old man was killed and a 55-year-old woman was injured as a result of a Russian attack. An apartment building, a garage, and a summer kitchen were damaged.


In Bilyi Kolodyazh, Chuhuiv District, a 43-year-old man was injured, and a motorcycle was damaged.
In the Bohodukhiv district, as a result of a Russian strike, an apartment building and a car were damaged in Zolochev, a medical facility, power lines, a production workshop, and a pig farm were damaged in Bohodukhiv, power lines were damaged in Dehtyary, a community center, a dormitory, and an administrative building were damaged in Sinnoye, two warehouse buildings were damaged in Lytvynivka, two private homes, three outbuildings, and a tractor in Klynova-Novoselivka, and a private home in Makarove. In Bohodukhiv, men aged 41 and 69, and women aged 29 and 78, were injured.
In the Izyum district, two private homes in Balakliya and Studenka were damaged by a Russian attack.
The transit evacuation center in Lozova received 230 people over the past 24 hours. A total of 34,901 people have been registered there since it began operations.
As a reminder, Kharkiv was attacked by drones once again: a fire broke out in the city.
