The government will allocate ₴789 million for anti-drone protection on priority roads
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will allocate 789 million hryvnias from the state budget’s reserve fund to strengthen anti-drone defenses along highways that are of priority importance for defense and logistics.
Of the total amount, 357 million hryvnias will be transferred to the Agency for Infrastructure Restoration and Development, and another 432 million hryvnias will be allocated to the regional military administrations in frontline regions.
The funds will go to the Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Kherson regions.

According to the government, the funds will be used to install anti-drone defenses along key logistics routes used, in particular, for military transport, evacuations, and the delivery of humanitarian and medical supplies.
Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky emphasized that work on installing anti-drone defenses must begin immediately.
“Work must begin immediately and be completed as soon as possible,” the head of government stressed.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported that 2,013 km of anti-drone defenses had already been installed along logistics routes near the front lines. In August alone, 214 km of protective structures were built on key highways.
This was announced by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky.
The State Special Transport Service has protected 2,013 km of critical logistics routes from drone attacks. In parallel with installing these defenses, the military has repaired over 600 km of highways since April 3, 2026.
Earlier, Russia attacked Izyum with KAB bombs; among the casualties was a two-month-old infant.
On September 10, in Kyiv’s Svyatoshynsky District, a drone crashed in an open area in the woods near a shopping center. According to preliminary reports, there was no fire and no injuries.
In the Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv, an enemy drone struck the roof of a four-story business center. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene to investigate the circumstances and address the aftermath of the incident.
