In Odesa, drones attacked the beach area, resulting in fatalities and injuries
During the Russian attack on June 23, drones flew over the coastal area of Odesa, where vacationers were present. The strike resulted in one fatality and one injury; the victims are receiving medical care, and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
The enemy attacked the Odesa region with strike drones. During the Russian strike, drones flew over the Odesa coastline, where vacationers were on the city’s beaches. A 26-year-old woman was killed in the attack on the coast. A 39-year-old man was also injured—he is receiving the necessary medical care. Information regarding the number of casualties is being verified, and emergency services are on the scene.
Eyewitnesses report that during the attack, explosions and the sound of air defense systems were heard in the beach area, after which panic broke out among the crowd. The drones flew over areas where large numbers of civilians were gathered, posing a direct threat to their lives.
