There have been casualties and damage to infrastructure in Odesa following the Russian attack
Another nighttime attack on Odesa has resulted in civilian casualties and widespread damage to civilian infrastructure.
This was reported by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration.
According to him, two people were killed when a residential area was hit. Two more victims are in the hospital under medical supervision.
Damage was recorded at several locations across the city. In particular, dozens of private homes and apartment buildings, a kindergarten, a dormitory, and restaurants were damaged. Windows were shattered, roofs were destroyed, and facades were damaged in residential buildings.
In addition, city infrastructure facilities were hit. Since last night, utility services have been working at the impact sites, clearing debris and performing urgent repairs—restoring roofs and windows.
A mobile emergency response center has been set up in the city to support affected residents. There, people can submit documents to receive assistance from the city budget, as well as file claims for compensation under the state “e-Recovery” program.
In Sumy, Russian troops struck residential areas twice in a single day, hitting high-rise buildings in different parts of the city. The first strike caused a fire and led to a resident seeking medical attention; the second injured a child and damaged a residential building again. Rescue workers are on the scene, and the evacuation of people is ongoing.
Additionally, the Russians attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 50 times in a single day, according to the Regional Military Administration.
In the Odesa region, the Russians attacked an oil tank in the port.
