In the Odesa region, Russians attacked an oil tanker in the port
On the morning of April 10, Russian occupation forces attacked port infrastructure in the Odesa region. An oil tank was damaged after being struck by a drone.
This was reported by Oleg Kipper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, the strike hit the territory of one of the region’s ports. The damage to the tank caused a spill, but serious consequences were avoided.
“Damage to the tank was recorded. An oil leak occurred without a subsequent fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties,” Oleg Kipper noted.
Currently, relevant services are working at the site to address the consequences of the spill and assess the extent of the damage. No fire broke out at the facility, and the situation is under control.
On the night of April 10, Russian troops carried out a massive attack with strike drones on Odesa and the surrounding region. As a result of the shelling, infrastructure damage and power outages were reported.
Additionally, Russian forces carried out 810 strikes on 42 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. One person was killed and nine others were wounded as a result of the attacks.
Ukraine’s air defense forces shot down 113 drones used by Russian troops to attack the country starting the evening of April 9. At the same time, enemy drones were reported to have struck six locations.
Prior to this, Ukrainian defense forces struck the “Krymskaya” oil pumping station in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation. A fire broke out there following the attack. Warehouses and military equipment in the occupied territories were also targeted.
