Video, photos: Two Russian FAB-500 bombs were defused in the Kharkiv region
On August 21, State Emergency Service bomb disposal experts defused two Russian FAB-500 aerial bombs in Cherkasy Lozova, Kharkiv Oblast. One bomb fell on a yard near a private home, and the other landed 300 meters from the house; the munitions were subsequently destroyed in a controlled detonation.
“The aerial bombs were transported to a demolition site and destroyed in a controlled detonation. Specialists from the engineering support unit for demining operations and specialized equipment were involved in the removal of the explosive devices,” the State Emergency Service reported.
Russians struck a village in the Zaporizhzhia region with a KAB bomb; one person was injured.
In Balakliya, Kharkiv Oblast, three members of the same family were injured as a result of a Russian drone strike. According to preliminary reports, Russian forces used a “Geran-2” drone.
On August 18, the Russian army killed one resident of the Donetsk region and wounded four others.
As a result of a Russian attack on August 18, the premises of the “Kyivguma” factory in Brovary, Kyiv Oblast, sustained damage. The factory’s employees were not injured, and the damage, according to preliminary estimates, is not critical.
On the evening of August 18 and overnight on August 19, Russian troops attacked the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast more than 10 times with drones and artillery. As a result of the shelling, an administrative building, a private home, and other civilian facilities were damaged, and a fire broke out. According to preliminary reports, there were no fatalities or injuries.
Earlier, a Russian drone attacked a car carrying bread near Zaporizhzhia.
