The Russian Ministry of Defense complained that Ukraine had produced a record number of drones and Flamingo units in a week

Over the course of the week, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched 26 “Flamingo” long-range cruise missiles and 8,477 unmanned aerial vehicles at targets in Russia. 

This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense. 

 

According to the enemy ministry, the number of airstrike weapons used in a single week set a record for the entire duration of Russia’s war against Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to the ministry, also launched 70 guided bombs and 17 rockets from HIMARS and Vampire systems. 

At the same time, the Russians report that they intercepted all Ukrainian drones and missiles, which is not true.

As a reminder, the Moscow authorities have acknowledged that they are unable to fully protect the capital’s oil refineries from drone attacks. At the same time, officials are predicting a deterioration in the economic situation due to strikes on Wildberries warehouses.

On the night of August 16, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of key military targets of Russian forces in the temporarily occupied territories.

On the night of August 17, the Ukrainian military struck facilities involved in the storage, preparation, and launch of attack drones, as well as their control systems, in Crimea and the Kherson region.
