Video: Medvedev Insulted Russians Who Oppose the War
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Security Council, made harsh remarks about young Russians who condemn the war against Ukraine. He used offensive language, calling opponents of the aggression “idiots with twisted minds.”
According to him, young people who oppose the war are allegedly unaware of their actions and are being swayed by money or a desire to stand out among their peers.
The Russian official stated that the emergence of anti-war sentiments among young people is a result of “stupidity and lack of awareness,” and called critics of the Kremlin regime people with “twisted minds.”
At the same time, Medvedev acknowledged the existence of systemic problems with society’s reception of official propaganda and emphasized the need to intensify the ideological indoctrination of young Russians.
“Look at how many idiots have been brought into this world during this very difficult, dramatic period! After all, where do these people with such utterly warped minds come from? It’s simply because, for the most part, they don’t understand what they’re doing. Well, of course, there are some die-hard scoundrels, but I think there aren’t that many of them. It’s more a matter of stupidity and lack of awareness. We simply have to understand that many people have problems with their minds. Patriotic work based on the best examples of our heroes’ actions is absolutely essential,” Medvedev stated.
