In Russia’s Tver Region, a drone damaged a Wildberries marketplace warehouse. The facility is located approximately 150 km from Moscow, and its area, according to preliminary data, was estimated to be about 150,000 square meters.

What is known about the damage to the warehouse

Vitaly Korolev, head of the Tver Region, said that a wall of the Wildberries warehouse was damaged by “debris from the drone.” According to him, the incident occurred in the Kalinin District of the region.

Smoke filled the facility after the debris struck. The smoke has already been cleared.

Korolyov also reported that no warehouse employees were injured as a result of the attack.

According to reports in Russian media, the facility in question is the Wildberries logistics complex in the “Emmaus” (Emaous) special economic zone in the Kalinin District of the Tver Region, 150 km from Moscow.

Attacks on Wildberries could exacerbate Russia’s economic problems, according to The Wall Street Journal.

As a reminder, sales of military goods on Wildberries plummeted following the Ukrainian attacks.

The Russian marketplace Wildberries plans to launch a network of “partner hubs” for storing goods as part of its support for sellers and owners of order pickup points.
