Video: The occupying authorities in Yalta have set record-high fuel prices
In occupied Yalta, a shocking spike in gasoline prices has been recorded; according to unofficial data, the price has reached 1,000 rubles per liter (10.80 U.S. dollars).
This figure marks a new record high for the region, which faces a constant shortage of energy resources due to logistical problems and international sanctions.
Converted to Ukraine’s national currency at the official exchange rate, the price per liter of fuel is approximately 445 hryvnias.
These figures are of particular concern to the local population, as the cost of gasoline in occupied Crimea has long exceeded average market prices in other regions.
Such a sharp rise in prices indicates a deep crisis in the fuel sector of the occupied peninsula.
Experts emphasize that such a pricing policy not only restricts the civilian population’s mobility but also demonstrates the occupying administration’s inability to meet the region’s basic energy needs.
