Russia is discussing the import of petroleum products with other countries — Peskov

The Russian Federation is negotiating with other countries regarding the possibility of importing petroleum products.

This information was confirmed by Dmitry Peskov, a spokesperson for the Russian dictator, who explained that these steps are an attempt to stabilize the domestic fuel market.

At the same time, the Kremlin categorically refuses to disclose the list of countries with which these supplies are being discussed.

Russian authorities are trying to keep the details secret, citing the specific circumstances of the current period.

“For obvious reasons, we will not discuss this. If agreements are reached at acceptable prices, this will happen. This will be another step toward stabilizing the market, aimed at curbing this panic-driven demand,” said Dmitry Peskov.

The official acknowledgment of the fuel shortage came amid ongoing attacks on Russian oil refineries.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin himself effectively acknowledged the existence of a fuel crisis in Russia, which was a direct consequence of effective strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on strategic targets within Russia’s oil infrastructure.
