Video: Putin Speaks Out on Strikes Against Ukraine's Civilian Infrastructure
On August 22, Vladimir Putin stated that Russian strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure are allegedly “effective and timely.” According to him, the attacks are intended to assist Russian troops on the front lines, specifically by hindering the supply of equipment and ammunition and the rotation of Ukrainian troops.
Putin once again commented on the systematic attacks on Ukrainian territory.
He said that massive strikes on critical and civilian infrastructure allegedly have a direct impact on the situation along the front lines.
He claims that such actions by the Russian army make it easier for the occupying forces to carry out their missions directly on the front lines.
As a reminder, Russia has once again struck the port of Odesa, and there are casualties.
In Izium, Kharkiv Oblast, five people were injured as a result of a Russian airstrike. The enemy also damaged at least 15 residential buildings.
Since the evening of August 16, the Russian army has attacked four districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 20 times. Five people were wounded as a result of the enemy strikes.
In Kherson, power outages occurred as a result of another round of Russian shelling.
