Video: Putin Acknowledges Ukraine's Successful Strikes on Russian Oil Refineries
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin stated that Ukrainian strikes on oil refineries have affected the industry’s operations and Russia’s economic indicators. According to him, the losses amounted to about 1% of the country’s GDP.
At the same time, Putin claimed that Russia allegedly has sufficient diesel fuel and attributed problems with supplying it to foreign markets to sanctions.
The Kremlin had previously acknowledged problems at Russian oil refineries due to Ukrainian attacks. In early September, Putin stated that companies had to strengthen their defenses following damage sustained by certain refineries.
According to him, Russian companies have also become more actively involved in protecting critical infrastructure. At that time, Putin claimed, Russia still needed to restore about 10% of its refineries that required repairs.
❗️The Russian dictator rejected an energy ceasefire and called the proposal to halt strikes “nonsensical.” The dictator stated that Russia does not agree to a mutual cessation of attacks on energy infrastructure. At the same time, Putin claims that Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries allegedly led to a loss of about 1% of Russia’s GDP, while Ukraine “now” has been left without a metallurgical industry following Russian strikes.
