Russia struck Gostomel; a child was among those injured
On the night of October 3, Russian occupiers launched an attack on Gostomel in the Kyiv region. Four people were injured in the shelling, including a child.
“Four people, including a child, were injured as a result of the Russian shelling in the village of Gostomel,” rescue workers said.
The State Emergency Service also reported that overnight, rescue workers extinguished fires at two warehouses in the Bucha district that broke out as a result of the Russian attack.
Currently, debris is being cleared and structures are being doused with water at the sites of the incidents.
Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, clarified that two people sustained minor injuries.
“The man suffered burns to his head, and the woman sustained a contusion to her left knee and an acute stress reaction,” Tkachenko said.
According to him, there were no fatalities as a result of the attack.
Thus, following the nighttime strike on Hostomel, four people are known to have been injured—including a child—and damage and fires have been reported at warehouse facilities in the Bucha district.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops shelled Kharkiv and 13 settlements in the Kharkiv region. Five people were killed in the attacks, and another 49 were wounded.
On the night of October 3, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 157 strike drones. The enemy launched drones from four directions, and among the weapons used were Shahed-type strike UAVs, “Gerbera” drones, and “Parody” decoy drones.
Over the past day, Russian occupation forces carried out 737 strikes on 55 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Two people were injured as a result of the enemy attacks.
On the evening of October 2, Russian troops attacked Dnipro again. A fire broke out in the city, and debris from the strike fell on the parking lot of the Dnipro City Council. Information regarding possible casualties is currently being verified.
On the morning of October 3, Russian forces struck the North Bridge in Kyiv. Prior to this, a series of explosions rang out in the capital amid an air raid alert and the threat of attacks by strike drones.
Prior to this, the Russian Federation—an aggressor state—had attacked a bridge in Kyiv, Ukraine, for the second day in a row. An evening drone strike on the closed South Bridge marked yet another attack on the capital’s infrastructure.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia—the aggressor state—may intensify its attacks on Ukraine ahead of the U.S. midterm elections scheduled for November 3. He made these remarks in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El País.
