On August 5, a Mercedes exploded in the village of Velikiy Istok near Yekaterinburg; Vladimir Tkachuk, the CEO of the company “UralDroneZavod,” was inside the vehicle. According to Russian media reports, the plant manufactures “Upir” FPV drones for the Russian military. The cause of the explosion has not yet been reported.

Russian media sources claim that the victim is currently in intensive care in critical condition.

He is the CEO of “UralDroneZavod,” which manufactures “Upyry” drones.

As a reminder, on the night of August 5, Russian troops destroyed the Rozetka distribution and warehouse complex in Brovary, near Kyiv. The facility was struck by three ballistic missiles. No one was injured, but the complex itself cannot be restored.

As a result of Russia’s nighttime missile attack on the night of August 5, the production and logistics facilities of the company “Epicenter” sustained significant damage. One employee was killed, and three others were injured. 

As a result of a Russian drone attack on August 4 in Dnipro, a warehouse belonging to the company “Biosfera”—which was part of a 20,000-square-meter warehouse complex—was completely destroyed.
