Russian military equipment has been spotted on the grounds of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, refuting Russia’s claims that there are no military facilities on the plant’s premises.
This was reported by the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to International Organizations in Vienna.
It is noted that the video footage was taken at the very moment when the Russian side, at a meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors, once again denied the presence of military equipment on the ZNPP grounds.
The released video shows military equipment directly on the plant’s territory. The Ukrainian side emphasizes that this is yet another proof of the militarization of Europe’s largest nuclear power plant and its use by Russian troops for their own purposes.
The Mission stressed that the international community must assess the situation based on facts, not on Russia’s statements, which once again do not correspond to reality.
