VIDEO: Russian Progress plant dismantled after Flamingo missile attack

The VNIIR-Progress plant in Cheboksary, Russia, was struck by Ukrainian FP-5 "Flamingo" missiles.

The facility is one of the key manufacturers of navigation equipment for the Russian military-industrial complex. In particular, it manufactures GNSS receivers and “Kometa” series antennas, which are used in Russian drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles.

It is precisely these "Kometa" antennas that Russian troops use to protect navigation systems from the effects of electronic warfare.

A strike on such a facility could impact the production of components for high-precision weapons and strike UAVs used by the Russian army.

In Cheboksary, Russia, in the Chuvash Republic, an attack on one of the defense enterprises was recorded on the morning of June 10. A video has been posted online which, according to sources, shows Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo missiles striking a facility in the city. There is currently no official confirmation of the details of the incident.

The General Staffreleased a map of combat operations in Ukraine as of June 5, 2026.
