In the Bilopil community in Sumy Oblast, three people—a woman and her two young children—were injured as a result of a Russian drone attack.
The strike on a residential area occurred on July 27. Local authorities urged residents not to put themselves or their children in danger and to avoid staying in communities near the front lines.
“Two young children and their mother were injured in the strike. They received the necessary medical care. Preliminary reports indicate that their injuries are not serious,” the statement said.
According to authorities, the family does not live in the community; they had come to visit relatives.
“Security risks in communities located extremely close to the border remain extremely high. Once again, I urge you not to put yourselves in danger and not to bring children to border communities,” Grigorov emphasized.
This was reported with reference to Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional State Administration.
