In the Russian city of Kirov, the defense contractor "Aviatek," which manufactures components for missile systems and fighter jets, was reportedly struck. According to preliminary reports, the strike targeted the factory grounds; there is currently no information on casualties or the extent of the damage.

 

In Kirov, Russia, a missile strike was reportedly carried out against the “Aviatek” plant, which is part of Russia’s aviation and defense complex.

The strike hit a facility that specializes in the production of aviation equipment and products for the Russian defense industry.

According to Exilenova+, “Aviatek” manufactures anti-aircraft guided missiles, target missiles, ejection seats, and aviation systems.

The company is also involved in the production of the “Tor” anti-aircraft missile systems and the Kh-101 and Kh-59M2/Kh-59M2A cruise missiles, supplying components for their engines.

In addition, the plant manufactures, repairs, and modernizes K-36DM ejection seats for the Su-34 and Su-57 fighter jets.

Exilenova+ also claims that employees may have been present at the facility during the strike; however, there is currently no official confirmation of possible casualties or the extent of the damage.

As a reminder, on the night of July 23, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of key military and military-economic targets of the Russian occupiers as part of a systematic effort to reduce their capabilities.
