Ukraine’s unmanned systems forces announced that they had struck a number of key targets in the temporarily occupied territories, including Crimea. According to military officials, on July 8, a key energy infrastructure facility that supplies electricity to the peninsula from Russian territory was attacked.

The statement notes that the targets included a power transfer point on the “Kuban–Crimea” power bridge, five electrical substations, as well as military facilities, including a training ground and radar stations.

In total, according to the Unmanned Systems Forces, 53 military targets in Crimea and the southern occupied territories were struck overnight. The operation was coordinated by the Unmanned Systems Forces’ Deep Strike Center.

This was announced by the commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, who releaseda video showing the moment of the attack.

Ukraine reported striking 19 Russian tankers carrying fuel for Crimea.

As a reminder, drones attacked one of Russia’s most modern oil refineries in Nizhnekamsk.

Additionally, Russian forces struck Odesa—there are casualties, and infrastructure has been damaged.

The strike on Odesa was carried out with a missile equipped with a cluster warhead.
