Video: Ukrainian Marines Deployed FPV Drones from Unmanned Boats for the First Time
The Ukrainian military used FPV drones launched from unmanned Barracuda boats for the first time to strike Russian positions in the Kherson region. The strikes targeted enemy equipment, logistics, and concentrations of personnel.
According to military sources, while carrying out a combat mission, the unmanned Barracuda boats operated in the area of the temporarily occupied Zalizny Port. During the operation, the boats came under heavy fire from Russian troops.
The occupiers attempted to destroy one of the unmanned boats using four “Lancet” loitering munitions. As a result of the attack, the boat was lost. Meanwhile, the other boats were able to continue moving and reach the designated launch point for strike drones.
After conducting additional reconnaissance, Ukrainian forces launched FPV drones, which struck enemy targets.
The attack struck Russian equipment and logistics facilities, camouflaged positions, and areas where occupying forces were concentrated.
The 40th Separate Marine Brigade noted that this is the first known instance of FPV drones being deployed from unmanned Barracuda boats to engage the enemy in combat.

As a reminder, fighters from the 123rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade used a guided maritime platform for the first time to deliver a land-based robotic system to the occupied shore of the Kinburn Spit. After landing, the robot carried out its combat mission.
