On the night of October 4, the Republic of Adygea in the Russian Federation came under a massive drone attack. According to OSINT analysts, the strikes caused a fire to break out at the “Khanska” military airfield near Maykop.

Local residents reported hearing explosions around 5 a.m., and the attacks themselves continued throughout the night. Photos and videos showing the drones flying over the site and a large-scale fire at the facility were posted online. Regional authorities did not declare a drone threat and did not comment on the events.

In addition, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported a drone attack that same night. According to him, air defense forces allegedly shot down six drones that were flying toward the Russian capital.
