Video: Russian drones attempted to destroy a Ukrainian "Barracuda"
The Ukrainian Navy has released a video showing the use of Ukrainian “Barracuda” unmanned boats, which are used to launch FPV drones at Russian military positions.
The released footage shows three Russian “Lancet” UAVs, two “Molniya” drones, and several FPV drones attempting to strike one of the Ukrainian unmanned boats.
As a result, Russian operators managed to disable this unmanned boat. At the same time, the enemy expended a significant number of drones to take it out—a cost that, according to the Navy’s assessment, exceeds the value of the Ukrainian boat itself.
While the Russian military was attempting to destroy one of the unmanned boats, another Ukrainian boat went unnoticed and reached its planned launch point for the FPV drones.
From there, Ukrainian operators began deploying drones against targets on the left bank.
“Their targets are on the left bank, where the enemy did not expect our small drones to appear… Coastal fortifications are being scouted and struck… Despite intense electronic warfare, operators are recording hits on targets used by the enemy,” the Navy’s video states.

Thus, the Russian military managed to stop one Ukrainian BEK, but failed to notice another, which carried out its mission and facilitated the launch of FPV drones toward enemy positions.
Earlier, soldiers of the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Mstislav the Brave thwarted an attempt by Russian assault troops to approach the front line of Ukrainian positions.
Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance units also discovered a Russian military hideout in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna sector and, using FPV drones, destroyed seven of the occupiers’ motorcycles.
As a reminder, on the night of August 14, the Ukrainian military struck two ground-based repeaters that were supporting the operation of “Geran” strike drones and also destroyed five Russian military drone control centers.
As a reminder, the Orsk Oil Refinery in the Orenburg Region of the Russian Federation completely halted operations following an attack by Ukrainian drones.
