One person was killed and another was injured as a result of Russian strikes on the Kharkiv region
Over the past 24 hours, on August 2, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv and 17 settlements in the region. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed and another was wounded.
Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, reported this on Facebook.
According to him, one person was killed in the village of Novy Korotych in the Pisochnaya community (details are being confirmed).
In the village of Fedorivka, Vilkhuvatska community, a 73-year-old woman was injured. The enemy attacked the Kholodnohirskyi, Industrialnyi, Novobavarskyi, and Kyivskyi districts of Kharkiv with drones.
The Russians also attacked the Kharkiv region with three “Geran-2” drones, one “Lancet” UAV, three “Molniya” UAVs, nine FPV drones, and 44 drones of a type yet to be determined.
In Kharkiv, an apartment building, a civilian enterprise, and a gas station were damaged. In the Bohodukhiv district, a store, a civilian enterprise, an office, a car (Bohodukhiv), three private homes, and three outbuildings (the village of Odnorobivka) were damaged.
In the Kupiansk district, a car (village of Fedorivka), three private homes, a garage, a car (Shevchenkove), two private homes (village of Myrne), a car, and a private home (Velykyi Burluk) were damaged. In the Izium District, a car (village of Horokhovatka), a business (village of Horokhovatka), and a private home (village of Andriivka) were damaged.
In the Kharkiv district, a postal terminal, two trucks (Novyi Korotych), six cars and two trailers (the village of Pisochn), a private home (the village of Luzhok), and a car (the village of Cherkaska Lozova) were damaged.
The transit evacuation center in Lozova received 79 people over the past 24 hours. A total of 49,438 people have been registered at the center since it began operations.
