The Russians struck Zaporizhzhia with KAB bombs; a Red Cross medical vehicle was damaged
In the village of Novomykolaivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, a service vehicle belonging to the Ukrainian Red Cross’s mobile medical team was damaged as a result of a Russian attack with guided aerial bombs. The strike damaged equipment that was being used to provide assistance to local residents.
The organization noted that the damaged vehicle was used for the mobile medical team’s field operations, during which they provided first aid to community residents. No team members were injured in the attack.
“We categorically condemn attacks on civilian infrastructure and humanitarian resources. Such actions create additional obstacles to providing assistance to people in need,” the organization said in a statement.
