Russia's daily casualties rose by 1,690 soldiers — General Staff
On October 7, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated its figures on Russian military casualties in the war against Ukraine. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders have eliminated 1,690 invaders.
As of October 7, Russia has suffered the following losses in the war against Ukraine:
- personnel – approximately 1,545,950 (+1,690)
- tanks – 12,396 (+0);
- armored combat vehicles – 25,498 (+4);
- artillery systems – 50,836 (+51);
- multiple launch rocket systems – 2,192 (+8);
- air defense systems – 1,690 (+2);
- aircraft – 443 (+0);
- helicopters – 356 (+0);
- ground-based robotic systems – 2,878 (+12) units;
- operational-tactical UAVs – 551,876 (+1,890) units;
- cruise missiles – 5,126 (+0) units;
- ships/boats – 35 (+0);
- submarines – 2 (+0) units;
- Vehicles and tanker trucks – 159,128 (+577) units;
- special equipment – 4,800 (+5) units

As a reminder, at least two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of a nighttime attack.
Russia struck Zaporizhzhia’s transportation infrastructure.
Russia also struck Dnipro with ballistic missiles, damaging a facility.
