For the third time, Russian terrorists have struck the American Mondelez factory
On August 23, the Russian terrorist army carried out airstrikes on a Mondelez International factory in Trostyanets, Sumy Oblast. This is the third attack on the American company's facility this year. They produce products of the brands "Korona", Milka, Oreo, "Lux" and other products.
According to “Suspilne,” five people were injured as a result of the Russian attack in Trostyanets. They include two men born in 1963 and 1976, as well as three women born in 1985, 1983, and 1973.
As of 5:00 p.m., three people were known to have been injured. The victims sustained minor injuries and cuts, Yuriy Bova, head of the Trostianets community, confirmed to Suspilne.
There were reportedly three strikes, according to a Suspilne correspondent. The administrative and production buildings were damaged.
Russia has already attacked the facility this year. In February 2026, one of the production workshops was hit.
In June of this year, the Russian military also attacked the American company Mondelez in Trostyanets. Two people were injured in that incident.
As a reminder, on August 23, Russian forces attacked a railway station in the Kharkiv region with a drone while a passenger train evacuating people was stopped. Two women were killed in the strike, and five others were injured.
