Video: Truck Runs Over Line of People Waiting for Gas in Moscow
On a Moscow ring road, a truck crashed into a line of cars waiting in line at a gas station. As a result of the major accident, one of the drivers died at the scene, and several other people sustained injuries of varying severity.
According to preliminary reports, the truck crashed at high speed into vehicles parked on the shoulder, damaging about ten vehicles. Emergency services and medical personnel are on the scene, and traffic on this section of the road is completely blocked.
The incident occurred amid an ongoing fuel shortage and long lines at gas stations in Russia, despite earlier reports from Russian authorities claiming that the situation in Moscow had normalized and Putin’s statements that there were only minor disruptions in the Russian fuel market.
