The attack on the Moscow Oil Refinery knocked out about 4% of Russia's production capacity
As a result of the attack on September 20, part of the Moscow Oil Refinery’s capacity was shut down. This increased the share of Russia’s oil refining capacity that has been paralyzed to approximately 4%.
The Moscow refinery has a capacity of about 12.15 million metric tons of crude oil per year. Its shutdown has left another 4% of Russia’s refining capacity paralyzed.
Fire Point noted that it had previously summarized the attacks on Russian refineries since early September. At that time, approximately 10% of Russia’s oil refining capacity had been paralyzed.
Taking the Moscow refinery into account, approximately 14% of Russia’s oil refining capacity had already been paralyzed during the first 20 days of September.

As a reminder, Moscow did not issue a warning about the drone attack so as not to reduce voter turnout in the elections.
As a result of Russian attacks on September 20 in the Zhytomyr region, a fire broke out at a transportation infrastructure facility, and dry grass also caught fire.
The death toll from Russian attacks in the Kyiv region has risen to four. A child who was injured during a strike on the Vyshhorod district died in the hospital. Among the dead are three children and a woman.
Due to the fires in Kyiv Oblast, the capital may experience smoke and the smell of burning.
