Four civilians killed in Donetsk region in one day
Over the past day, 27 January, four residents of Donetsk region were killed as a result of shelling by Russian forces.
This was reported on Facebook by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
According to him, Russian forces killed three people in Sloviansk and one person in Kostiantynivka. A further five people across the region were wounded over the same period.

The total number of civilian casualties caused by Russian forces in Donetsk region — 3,992 killed and 8,827 injured — does not include Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Meanwhile, there were nearly 50 clashes along the frontline over the past day, with the heaviest fighting near Pokrovsk.
The Russian army carried out almost 1,600 strikes on Donetsk region in 24 hours, resulting in one fatality.
Earlier, Odesa, Donetsk, and Kharkiv regions were partially left without electricity following drone strikes.
Donetsk region remains under heavy fire, with 22 attacks in one day, leaving civilians dead.
