In three days, no evidence has been found of FPV drones being used by the Shahids in Kyiv
In three days, no evidence was found of the use of FPV drones equipped with jet-powered “Shaheds” during Russian attacks on Kyiv. This was stated by Sergei Beskrestnov (Flash), a special advisor to the president.
“In three days, we have not been able to find any evidence of the use of FPV-equipped ‘Shahed’ drones in Kyiv,” Beskrestnov wrote.
As a reminder, the intensity of Russian attacks on Kherson has increased 2.5-fold since the beginning of the year. At the same time, only about 20% of the city’s pre-war population remains there—approximately 60,000 people out of 300,000.
Over the past week, Russian troops have struck checkpoints in southern Ukraine four times. On the border with Moldova, the “Vynogradivka–Vulcănești” checkpoint was damaged, while the “Tabaky–Mirne” checkpoint was completely destroyed; the “Orlivka–Isaccea” checkpoint on the border with Romania was also hit.
As of the morning of September 4, power outages were reported in four regions of Ukraine as a result of new Russian shelling. Utility workers continue to work on restoring power and addressing the consequences of the enemy attacks.
