Zelenskyy showed the first footage of our interceptors destroying Shahid missiles
The Security Service of Ukraine has developed a new interceptor drone to combat “Shahed” drones and has already successfully tested it in combat conditions. Footage of the first interception was published by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“Report from SBU Head Oleksandr Poklad. The Security Service’s military counterintelligence has achieved a positive result in countering jet-powered ‘Shaheds.’ A new interceptor drone has been developed and has already been successfully deployed. Step by step, we are moving forward to provide Ukraine with greater protection. I thank all the developers and manufacturers who work every day to scale up the weapons we need,” Zelenskyy wrote.
As a reminder, on the night of September 19, Russian terrorist forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine, using two “Zircon” anti-ship missiles, 174 strike drones, and “Banderole” drones. Air defense forces destroyed most of the enemy targets.
