As a reminder, in recent days, Brigadier General Andriy Biletsky, commander of the Third Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, began publicly discussing information that had previously been known only to a few military experts, the command, and those directly involved in the events. As it turned out, for several months now, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have been conducting Operation “Vivaldi”—an offensive operation in northern Donetsk Oblast. They kept this under wraps all this time to avoid breaking the information “blackout.”
On September 18 and during the night of September 19, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of key military facilities belonging to Russian terrorist forces. Among the targets hit were drone control centers, a training ground, and enemy warehouses.
As a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on the Russian military airfield “Rostov-Central,” four enemy aircraft were destroyed. This is evidenced by photos that have appeared on social media.
