Zelenskyy stated that Russia has deployed three air defense units near Moscow
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia has significantly strengthened its air defense around Moscow and, to a lesser extent, St. Petersburg, by redeploying air defense systems from other regions of the country.
According to the head of state, even such a concentration of air defense assets does not guarantee complete protection.
“No matter how much air defense you have, it will eventually be depleted. We will find ways to counter them and make sure they feel it,” Zelenskyy said.
The president also stated that following Russian strikes on Ukrainian logistics, the Defense Forces changed their approach and carried out their own logistics operation.
According to Zelenskyy, as a result of this operation, Russia allegedly suffered losses of about one trillion rubles. He called it one of the most successful operations carried out by Ukrainian forces.
The head of state added that such operations involve the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Special Operations Forces, the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), and the Foreign Intelligence Service, which, he said, act jointly when carrying out long-range strikes.
