Zelenskyy called for strengthening anti-ballistic defenses following new Russian strikes
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the latest Russian attacks on Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Nikopol, and other regions, emphasizing the need to strengthen anti-ballistic defenses.
According to the head of state, five people were killed and another 29 were injured as a result of the missile strike on Dnipro. A rescue operation is underway at the site of the attack.
The president also mentioned a Russian drone strike on a commuter bus in Zaporizhzhia, which killed three people and injured six others, including a child.

In addition, Russian troops repeatedly attacked rescue workers in Nikopol and struck energy infrastructure in the Sumy, Odesa, and Chernihiv regions. The Kherson and Kharkiv regions were also shelled.

Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine must strengthen its anti-ballistic defenses to effectively counter Russian terror. He also called on Europe to more actively develop its own missile defense systems and related weaponry.
