The nighttime drone attack on St. Petersburg’s port, military, and oil infrastructure on June 3 caused a significant stir among local residents. In various parts of the city, eyewitnesses reported a series of explosions, air defense activity, and subsequent fires in the areas where the facilities were struck. 

 

Videos showing thick smoke and flashes in the sky quickly began appearing on social media, which only intensified panic among some residents.

According to residents, some neighborhoods spent the night in a state of anxious anticipation—people heard explosions and saw smoke.
