Launch points of “Shahed” drones destroyed in two regions of Russia
Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two Shahed drone launch bases in the Bryansk and Kursk regions of Russia overnight. Air defense systems and other military facilities were also hit. This was reported on Telegram by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi.
According to Brovdi, the strikes targeted drone preparation and launch points in the settlement of Navlya and at the Khalino airfield. “Together with other deep-strike units, we targeted two hubs and pre-flight preparation points for Shahed UAVs,” he said.
Additionally, the same night Ukrainian forces destroyed a radar station of the S-400 system in Feodosia, as well as a Tor surface-to-air missile system. Brovdi stated that other targets were hit as well: command posts, depots, and additional drone hubs. “Another damn dozen military facilities were destroyed,” he noted.
These strikes aim to reduce the enemy’s ability to launch strike drones at Ukraine and weaken its air defense system. Ukrainian forces continue to target critical objectives deep behind enemy lines to disrupt logistics and reduce combat potential.
Also, Russia has changed its attack tactics, with daytime strikes potentially aimed at causing more casualties.
