Ukrainian forces strike Russian command posts and supply depots in Belgorod and occupied territories
Ukrainian defence forces carried out a series of precision strikes on the rear infrastructure of Russian occupation troops, both in temporarily occupied territories and in Russia’s Belgorod region. The attacks destroyed an advanced divisional command post, several ammunition and fuel depots, and concentrations of enemy personnel.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that, as part of efforts to reduce the offensive potential of the Russian aggressor, Ukrainian defence units carried out fire strikes on a number of important Russian military targets during the night of 28 February.
A fuel and lubricant depot of a motorised rifle regiment was struck near the settlement of Novoamvrosiivske, and an ammunition depot of a separate motorised rifle brigade near the settlement of Amvrosiivka (Donetsk region, temporarily occupied territory) was also destroyed.
In the Kherson region (temporarily occupied territory), Russian logistical sites were targeted: depots of the material and technical supply units of a motorised rifle and engineer-sapper regiment near the settlement of Kalanchak, as well as a fuel and lubricant depot of a separate brigade near the settlement of Myrne.
“Yesterday, the Ukrainian Defence Forces struck the forward command post of the enemy’s 127th Motorised Rifle Division near the settlement of Orlynske (Donetsk region, temporarily occupied territory). Strikes were also carried out on areas of enemy personnel concentration in Dronivka (Belgorod region, Russia), Rodynske (Donetsk region), and the settlement of Berezove (Dnipropetrovsk region). In addition, a material and technical supply depot of the occupiers near the settlement of Bahatyr (Donetsk region, temporarily occupied territory) was hit,” the General Staff statement said.
Russian losses and the full scale of the damage are being clarified.
It should be recalled that since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian Defence Forces have eliminated around 1,265,900 Russian military personnel, including 770 in the last 24 hours.
Air defence systems have shot down nearly all drones used by Russia to attack Ukraine.
