Ukrainian drones struck S-300 air defense systems and Russian military depots in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions
On the night of May 24, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned aerial vehicle units carried out strikes against Russian military targets in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. According to reports, the strikes hit S-300 air defense missile systems, the “Imbir” radar station, ammunition depots, and Russian military fuel tank cars.
SBS Commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi announced this on Facebook, releasing a video of the combat operation.
According to Brovdi, among the targets of the SBS “Birds” deep within enemy territory were an S-300 air defense missile launcher in Lazarivka, Donetsk Oblast; the 9S19 “Imbir” radar station in Stritentsa, Donetsk Oblast; and railway tank cars in Debaltseve, Donetsk Oblast.
An MTZ depot in Dokuchaevsk, Donetsk Oblast, and a “Merlin-VR” reconnaissance UAV were also struck.
In addition, strikes were carried out on Russian depots in Novoyanisol and Kreminivka in the Donetsk region.
Operators of the 412th Separate SBS Brigade “Nemesis” struck enemy logistics in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
“Air defense missile systems and radars are the 22nd and 23rd elements of Russian air defense destroyed by SBS ‘Birds’ between May 1 and 24,” Brovdi noted.
