Ukrainian defense forces are holding back Russian troops on the northern outskirts of Pokrovsk, while the enemy is amassing equipment and personnel in the southern part of the city.

This was reported by the "East" military group.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 32 assaults over the past 24 hours in the areas of Rodynske, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, and other settlements.

In particular, the situation remains tense near Hryshyne, where small-arms firefights are ongoing, and the enemy is attempting to gain a foothold with small infantry groups.

In Pokrovsk itself, the occupiers are unable to break through the defenses in the north, but in the south, they are attempting to form strike groups for a further offensive.

Ukrainian units are actively destroying enemy targets, preventing them from forming forces for a breakthrough. Artillery, drones, and aerial reconnaissance are in operation, and efforts are underway to lay mines and disrupt enemy logistics.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian losses amounted to 389 personnel. A significant amount of equipment was also destroyed or damaged, including tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, and over 2,000 drones.

On the front lines, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers eliminated Yuriy Hrytsenko, known as the “Zelenograd maniac.” After serving his sentence, he joined the war against Ukraine.

On April 14, Russian troops struck the Pechenizke Reservoir in the Kharkiv region with guided aerial bombs.
