The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck another 21 power transmission towers in the occupied territories and at the Luhansk Thermal Power Plant
As part of Operation “Crimean Circuit Breaker Off,” the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ unmanned systems struck another 21 power facilities in the temporarily occupied territories between August 26 and 28. The strikes targeted facilities in the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as in Crimea and at the Luhansk Thermal Power Plant.
“21 power substations and the Luhansk Thermal Power Plant were targeted by SBS drones over the three-day period of August 26–28,” The SBS operation ‘Crimean Circuit Breaker Off’ has opened the ‘East-Vyo’ branch,” Brovdi noted.
Specifically, the following targets were struck:
- Luhansk Thermal Power Plant “Schastya,” Schastya (Luhansk Oblast);
- The 220 kV “Alchevsk” substation, Alchevsk (Luhansk Oblast);
- The 150 kV “Tymofiivka” substation, Tymofiivka (Kherson Oblast);
- the 150-kV “Henichesk” substation, Henichesk (Kherson Oblast);
- 110 kV “Kovylne” Substation, Kovylne (Autonomous Republic of Crimea);
- 110 kV “YUDV” Substation, Lisne (Donetsk Oblast);
- 110 kV “VAOK” Substation, Volodymyrivka (Donetsk Oblast);
- 110 kV “Luhansk” Substation, Luhansk (Luhansk Oblast);
- 110 kV “Novoozerna” Substation, Novoozernoye (Autonomous Republic of Crimea);
- 110 kV “Krainye” substation, Krainye (Autonomous Republic of Crimea);
- 110 kV “Pavlivka” Substation, Pavlivka (Donetsk Oblast);
- 110 kV “Dmytrivka” Substation, Dmytrivka (Donetsk Oblast);
- 110 kV “Voykove Tyahove” Substation, Lyubivka (Donetsk Oblast);
- 110 kV “Novotroitska” Substation, Novotroitske (Donetsk Oblast);
- 110 kV “Novoazovska” Substation, Novoazovsk (Donetsk Oblast);
- “Niva” Substation, Niva (Autonomous Republic of Crimea);
- “Staropetrivka” Gas Distribution Station, Staropetrivka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast);
- “Rozdolne” gas distribution station, Rozdolne (Autonomous Republic of Crimea);
- “Marinivka” Gas Distribution Station, Marinivka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast);
- “Novopavlivka” gas distribution station, Novopavlivka (Autonomous Republic of Crimea);
- “Partizany” gas distribution station, Partizany (Autonomous Republic of Crimea).
According to Brovdi, during the “Crimean Circuit Breaker Off” operation from July 1 to August 28, 315 power distribution nodes in Crimea and other occupied territories were disabled.

Drones struck the Luhansk Thermal Power Plant in the occupied territory.
Earlier, Russia launched a ballistic missile strike on a facility in Kryvyi Rih.
As a reminder, Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles.
Prior to that, Russia attacked warehouses and energy facilities in the Odesa region.
