The Armed Forces of Ukraine Halt Russian Offensive Near Huliaipole
In recent days, the Russian army had advanced in the Huliaipole area of Zaporizhzhia, forcing Ukrainian units to temporarily withdraw. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have now stopped the enemy’s offensive and regained control of the situation.
This was reported by the Defence Forces of Southern Ukraine on Telegram.
According to the command, the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment of the Ground Forces, together with adjacent assault and mechanised units, successfully repelled the advance of Russian forces near Huliaipole.
“The front has been stabilised,” the command stated.
On 27 November, the General Staff of Ukraine recorded 247 combat engagements, most of them in the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions.
As of 28 November, the Ukrainian General Staff reported significant Russian losses and a reduction in the enemy’s combat potential.
