According to intelligence, the vessel “was transiting known drug trafficking routes in the eastern Pacific.”
Operational data confirmed the crew’s direct involvement in large-scale drug trafficking operations under the auspices of terrorist groups.
SOUTHCOM emphasized the professionalism of its units, noting that “two male drug traffickers were killed during this operation.”
An important aspect of the operation is the complete absence of casualties among U.S. personnel. Command officials officially noted that “no U.S. service members were harmed” during the kinetic strike on the enemy target.
