The Russian military has carried out 66 attacks since the start of the day; fighting continues on six fronts – General Staff

Since the start of Friday, March 27, 2026, Russian forces have attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces positions 66 times, focusing their efforts on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors. 

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook.

As of 4:00 p.m., 22 assaults were recorded in each of these sectors of the front. Combat clashes are ongoing in the areas of the towns of Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, and other settlements in the Donetsk region. In other sectors, particularly the Dnipro and Oleksandrivka sectors, the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations but used aviation to strike residential areas.

At the same time, the invaders continue intense shelling of the border areas of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions; more than ten settlements came under fire. In the Kupiansk and Lyman sectors, the Defense Forces repelled a series of assaults toward Petropavlivka, Lyman, and Stavky, where fighting is still ongoing. In the Kursk and Northern Slobozhanshchyna sectors, 50 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions were recorded. Despite constant pressure from the occupiers, no significant changes in the situation have been recorded on other sections of the front; enemy attempts to advance are being contained by Ukrainian defenders.

According to the OSINT project DeepState, Russian troops advanced over the past 24 hours in the areas of Hryshyne in the Pokrovsk district and Sofiivka in the Kramatorsk district, capturing approximately 1 square kilometer.

Ukrainian defenders repelled a large-scale offensive by Russian occupiers, recording a total of 158 combat engagements across the entire front line.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces also thwarted a Russian offensive planned for March.
