Airlines extend flight restrictions to the UAE and Middle East — The National
International airlines continue to adjust flight schedules to the United Arab Emirates and other Middle Eastern countries due to airspace restrictions amid the war with Iran. In particular, Wizz Air has suspended flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi until October 24, The National reports.
Air France has resumed regular flights to Tel Aviv, but flights to Beirut are suspended until September 25, to Riyadh until September 28, and to Dubai until October 13. British Airways plans to resume daily flights between London and Dubai on November 3. The carrier’s flights to Abu Dhabi are expected to resume only in the 2027–2028 winter season.
Restrictions for Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Cathay Pacific has extended the suspension of flights to Dubai and Riyadh until November 30. Singapore Airlines will also not operate flights to Dubai until October 24, while Virgin Atlantic has announced the suspension of its Dubai route until October 2027.
Air Canada has extended the cancellation of flights to Tel Aviv and Dubai until mid-January 2027. Finnair will not fly to Dubai and Doha until March 27, 2027. KLM has suspended flights to Riyadh, Dammam, and Dubai until October 24, while resuming flights to Tel Aviv with a stop in Larnaca, Cyprus, where the crew will rest overnight.

Gradual resumption of routes
The Lufthansa Group plans to gradually resume connections to Dubai at the end of October. Lufthansa is to resume flights from Munich on October 25 and from Frankfurt on October 26. Swiss will resume daily flights from Zurich on October 27, while Austrian Airlines will resume flights from Vienna on December 12. Eurowings has scheduled the resumption of routes from Berlin, Stuttgart, and Cologne in November.
Turkish Airlines has already resumed flights to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Damascus, Beirut, and Amman, but flights to Tehran remain suspended. Philippine Airlines has resumed the Manila–Doha connection, but will not fly to Dubai until October 2. Korean Air is keeping the Incheon–Dubai route suspended indefinitely.
Carriers that have announced options for passengers offer rebooking, rerouting, or refunds depending on ticket conditions and the airline.
