Volunteer group's vehicle to become more visible after Paris kosher shop attack

A vehicle belonging to a volunteer group, which closely resembles a police car, will be made more distinguishable following a recent attack on a kosher shop in Paris, highlighting the importance of their safety and proper identification.

In London, a special police force composed of about 80 volunteers operates with official permission from authorities and is trained by the Israeli army. There is also a dedicated ambulance service for the Jewish community, similar to one functioning in New York City.

The existence of a separate Jewish ambulance service came to light after unknown individuals set fire to four ambulances in London, posing a serious threat to community safety.

Such initiatives aim to provide protection and support to vulnerable groups, especially amidst rising interethnic tensions.

This development underscores the need to enhance the visibility and security of volunteer services to reduce risks of attacks and ensure effective assistance to residents, particularly those from minority groups.

Going forward, increased security measures and greater cooperation with law enforcement agencies can be expected to improve coordination and protection.
