An unidentified drone was found near the home of the Danish defense minister

Police and military bomb disposal experts inspected the street near the private home of Danish Defense Minister Jeppe Brøus after a drone was spotted there. It later turned out to be a recreational drone, so law enforcement quickly concluded the inspection and stated that there was no danger.

What is known about the incident?

On the morning of September 16, on the street in Gladsaxe where the defense minister lives, military explosive ordnance disposal specialists worked alongside a special Telemax robot to inspect the suspicious object.

Defense Minister Jeppe Brous personally commented on the situation to reassure local residents and explain the reason for the large police presence.

“This morning, there were a lot of police near my private home because a drone was found in the area. Checking such objects is a completely standard procedure for law enforcement agencies,” said Jeppe Bruus.

The minister clarified that the device turned out to be a standard hobby drone, and the situation was immediately brought under full control. Law enforcement officers and bomb disposal experts have now wrapped up their work at the scene.

Details are reported by The Copenhagen Post.
